Dam 2.2

Dam is a duo performance installation created by Adam Azarchs and Belle Philibosian. The piece explores themes of human connection, communication, and isolation in a technological age.

The performance takes place within a large dam-like structure made of wooden slats. The structure is divided into two rooms, one for each performer. Each performer wears headphones through which they receive specific instructions and prompts to guide their movements and interactions with the other performer.

Throughout the piece, the performers engage in a variety of actions designed to push the boundaries of human connection in the age of digital communication. They use body language, touch, and even sound to communicate with each other, sometimes struggling to bridge the gap between them.
